My purpose to create this blog spot

What is my purpose to create this blog spot, you ask. I will share what life is like in this Town. For instance, I go walking 3 times a week up & down the Hill Dr neighborhood streets off Colorado Blvd. I am out and about around 7:30 am . The traffic on Colorado blvd has increased over the last 10 years. I walk for about 30 to 45 minutes for the cardio exercise. You can walk in Eagle Rock neighborhoods and feel comfortable. I have seen people walk after dark for cardio and pleasure.

There are many hip boutique and many varieties of restaurants such as italian, french, thai, vietnamese, latin cruise, tacos, barbeque sandwiches, wine cellar and more. During the last half of the year, there music festivals.

You don't have to worry about a cup of coffee and internet connection, we have a few.

I remember when the weatherman on t.v. announced Eagle Rock had cool weather. It must have been 10-12 years or more when channel 5 had breakfast served for all neighbors on Ellenwood Drive and Hill Drive. At that time no one heard of Eagle Rock. Then awhile back, a client told me the story behind the growth of the area. As said to me, it was an executive from the East Coast who worked in the studio business as a recruiter. He advised newcomers to move towards Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Los Feliz , to avoid the freeway congestions.

In the future, I will share real estate news in the community. You will know what has sold last month , so you can see how prices are doing. What am I representing as For Sale. I will share real life escrow experiences.

I am not all Real Estate Agent. I belong to the EagleRock Valley Historical Society. I wanted to do something that was fun and not work. I saundered into the historical society achieves room. Here I meet Eric and Katie who were dedicated archievist. Eric is the president, and katie is a professional anthropologist. They were so kind to show me around. When I saw that Eagle Rock had won 5 trophies in the Tournament Of Roses parade, I asked "what do you know about these prizes". I was told that it was a mystery. They had no historical facts available. I asked if I could nosie around. Eric pointed to several large boxes of old Eagle Rock newspapers from 1910 to 1923. Since that day, I have compiled detailed articles about each trophy and pictures of the floats. Now I have identified all the floats between 1914 thru 1939.

In the future issues of this blog, I will share the interesting articles that I find on this path to the past. Oh yes, coming soon," The Man Behind The Gavel" is a mini story of one of Eagle Rock's citizens that help the town become a community city.
